If you wish to support the mission of the Strasburg Care Center (SCC) you may do so by clicking on the donate button below.  Donations to the SCC are tax deductible as we are a     501(C)(3) non-profit corporation.

As noted on the Resources Page, the method of funding skilled nursing facilities follows a cost reimbursement system.  This reimbursement is done after-the-fact, sometimes up to eighteen (18) months later. A submitted cost report drives the rates for residents.  We try to be responsible in our expenditures to control costs but we must continue to maintain and update our facilities.

In this regards, capital expenditures are difficult to budget for in advance.  We have been successful in acquiring grants when available and utilizing our resources wisely.  A list of some of the capital improvements we have made can be seen in the attachment (Projects Completed).  We also have several capital projects we are planning for and budgeting for in the future (Future Capital Projects).
